Tahoe Anniversary

We spend a long holiday weekend in Tahoe. Chelsea and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary, which means that Zealand is a little over 1 year old since the time the first cell divided to make two. We visited Vahalla to reminisce and did a tiny blessing for Zealand in the same spot of Lake Tahoe that we blessed our wedding rings in. I think he thought the water was a little cold.

Chelsea and I got out for a nice Italian dinner and watched the wedding video for the first time. It was so nice to really hear all the fabulous speeches everyone made.

Zealand is really starting to grab and manipulate things with his hands. He really likes his lamb blanket Douglas. If you hold it in front of him, he will use 'the force' to slowly bring his hands to it. Once they touch it, he brings it straight to his mouth. He got a huge kick out the the paper bag that his owl finger puppet came in.
